Walworth County Historical Society Photo Contest
Celebrating America 250

Theme:  What Does Walworth County Mean to You?

Entry Rules:

One entry per person.

Size of Photo:  5” x 7” to be displayed in either a black or white matte size 8” x 10”

Photos may be either black and white or color.

Entered photographs must be the original work of the photographer and appropriate for viewers of all ages.

Photos must be taken in Walworth County and identified by location where the photo was taken.

Photos may be submitted to the Walworth County Historical Society (WCHS) between March 15, 2025 and July 4, 2025.  They may be submitted in person on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at 9 South Broad Street in Elkhorn or mailed to the Walworth County Historical Society at P.O. Box 273, Elkhorn, WI 53121.  Walworth County Historical Society will not be responsible for photos received by mail that arrive damaged.

Identification of photo needs to be completed by placing the following information on the back of the matte to include:  name of photographer, age, address, telephone number, subject and location of the subject.

There will be two entry categories:   Children ages six (6) through sixteen (16)

                                                                 Adults ages seventeen (17) and beyond

Children’s Contest Awards:  1^st place ($50.00)  2^nd Place ($25.00)  3^rd Place ($10.00)

Adult Contest Awards:  1^st Place ($100.00)  2^nd Place ($50.00)  3^rd Place ($25.00)
